lyrics

There's something not right, your grieving my loss
The fun times we've had, the lands we've crossed
Know now I feel nothing by waves as they toss
Can I tell you something, as I wash away, I need to say

Father don't be sad, you made me a man
So goodbye my friend, I'll see you again

Her gift was her eyes, so splendid and soft
I'll miss her tonight, her comfort and warmth
I know now you feel pain of grieving my loss
The life we shared was something
So as I wash away, I need to say

Momma don't be sad, you made me a man
So goodbye my friend, I'll see you again

No need to compromise, so tired of the toil and tide
There's no survival against the sea my rivals
So I've found away, to fly away, to finally say
Goodbye

about

Halema'uma'u Tempe, Arizona

Halema'uma'u was formed in 2008 by Mykel (Guitar/Vox), John (Bass) and Stewart (Drums), who were all groomed in the early 90's indie scene and earned their grit playing in local DIY bands around Arizona.

Their music was built on the admiration and love they have for one another, an impulse to always play from the heart and a vision that one day someone, somewhere may be inspired.
